Training


This training event is a 3-day event packed with training and fun for the new financial aid officer. Faculty will include seasoned financial aid professionals who will provide in-depth training about financial aid programs and interactive sessions to foster the participant’s growth in the profession.

Registration at the Duncan Gray Center will begin at 1:00 pm on March 31, 2008

LOCATION:
The workshop will be held at the Gray Conference Center, a serene site located about 30 minutes from Jackson, MS. Participants will stay in cottages overlooking the lake and meetings will be held in the conference facility. The site offers a great atmosphere for learning, having fun and enjoying the beauty of nature.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS: You may want to Mapquest your own driving directions from YOUR departure location.

From North Mississippi on I-55 South:
Take Exit 139 at Pickens
Turn left after exiting and go to Hwy 51
Turn right on Hwy 51 and continue for about 9 miles
Watch for sign to Camp Bratton Green – Turn right!
If you end up in Canton, you missed the turn. Please turn around and come back!
From South/Central Mississippi on I-55 North:
Take Exit 124, just North of Canton and veer right
Turn right onto Hwy 16 and take an immediate left onto the Frontage Road
Continue to Hwy 51 and turn left
Watch for the sign to Camp Bratton Green (on right side of road)
Look for the Gray Center sign on the left side of the road
Turn left onto Way Road (if you miss this left turn and end up in Pickens, turn around and come back)
Continue about 1 mile and turn into the conference center.
